Registration

Candidates interested in joining the OF must:

+ Be between the ages of 18 and 30.

The REGISTRATION FORM must be fully completed and accompanied by:

+ A full resume. Former OF members must submit an updated resume;
+ A copy of a document certifying place of residence (such as driver's license);
+ A copy of a document certifying date of birth (such as passport);
+ A cheque or postal money order of $30 made out to the Orchestre de la Francophonie to cover non refundable administration fees.

All application packages become the property of the OF and will not be returned to the candidates.

AUDITIONS

Once all applications have been reviewed, a number of candidates will be invited by the selection committee to on-site auditions in one of several Canadian cities in March, 2012.

+ Auditions consist of a solo piece of your choice of no more than 3 minutes and mandatory ORCHESTRAL EXCERPTS.
+ Candidates must make any arrangements and cover any and all expenses related to an accompanist.
+ The decisions of the selection committee are final.

DVD AUDITIONS

Live auditions are greatly preferred. In cases where a live audition is really not possible, applicants can send a DVD performance with their application (CDs will not be accepted).
